Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a mix of a very nice room with a small patio area and perfect amenities, making for a comfortable stay. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff. The convenient location near Derby, Nottingham, and the Peak District adds great value. The dining experience was exceptional, although waiting times may occur. Overall, a great stay with superb quality and service.
Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight. The rooms were impeccable, and I only wished my stay could have been longer. The upmarket feel of the rooms added a touch of luxury to our experience. We enjoyed a wonderful evening at the local church for Carols by Candlelight, followed by a delicious dinner at The Dovecote Restaurant and a delightful breakfast in the hotel dining room.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely lovely. The room was larger than expected with a nice bathroom featuring a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The facilities could use some improvement, but overall, it was a comfortable and spotlessly clean experience. The breakfast was excellent and the setting in the countryside, yet close to Derby, was delightful.
